This is one of four paintings I created in an effort to experiment with different art supplies and painting and linework styles.
Wallflower (Pink) features watercolor with colored pencil linework. I found this to be a “breakthrough” piece for me; I have been looking to it as a kind of style guide ever since. I really enjoy loose, splashy watercolors and the added texture of colored pencils.
